Spor
is the new soul of Renegade Hardware records and one of the most active of
Barcode records in London. For 2004 on the turntables of Herbal clubs (for the
Therapy nights) and The End (where Renegade Hardware organize all the London
events), he has released about twelve productions and as much as remixes.
Many
really good tracks: “Hydra”, “To The Death “(Renegade Hardware), Ewun remix
“Hate Machine (Barcode), “Cyberpunk” (Barcode), “The Eyes Have It” (White), Spor
and Infiltrata “Three Faces” (Renegade Hardware).
Those
who like soft Drum’n’Bass and jazzy have better to take a compilation of LTJ
Bukem, because Spor is rather in a tyrannosaurus rex
tendency!

Having
grown up in Bristol Xample has always been surrounded by the sounds of drum and
bass and the love of this music lead to him buying his first set of turntables.
Soon after, Xample relocated to Liverpool and this is where he first teamed up
with the local dj/producers Sol and Futurebound. Xample became a regular at
nights around the North West, playing at some of the best nights in Manchester
Liverpool and Leeds. Around this time, Xample decided he wanted to try his hand
at producing and before to long had notched up releases on labels such as Hard
leaders, Penny Black and L plates.
In
2005 Xample moved back to Bristol and continued to work hard on shaping his
sound, soon attracting interest from Andy C and the rest of the Ram camp, which
lead to Xample signing to Frequency for a couple for 12s, before giving Ram his
first track, 'Heaven And Hell', for the well received Dimensions EP, and also on
Andy C's nightlife 3mix CD.
It
looks like Ram have done it again. Following the signings of Subfocus and Chase
& Status, they have now snatched Xample, whose three forthcoming Ram tracks
are already played by the biggest DJs on the scene, with Grooverider recently
plugging 'Lowdown' at every Radio One show.
Don't
be surprised if Xample becomes one of the drum and bass success story of 2008
with new tracks lined up for Ram including ‘Get out Clause', ‘Infamous', ‘Breath
& Stop' and the mighty ‘Automatic'. |

In
1997, this two cousins discovered the Jungle through the group No-U-Turn.
So
they started their Drum’n’Bass dj career. In
2001, Loccomotion was launched. Since then, they performed in many countries in
Europe and in South America. They played as well on the mythic radio Rude FM in
England.
Resident
at the Zoo (Geneva), they organize there many events with prestigious guest as
Total Science, Photek, Marcus Intalex or Dj Zinc. They have a big experience in
the event organization in Geneva.
Now
as confirmed artist associate to the famous underground place in Geneva,
Loccomotion proposes their productions released on the really great records Zoo
recordings. |

MC Youthstar real name Jamie Morgan-Davies was born in 1985 in Hammersmith west
London.
At
the age of 16 he moved to france with his family and immediately started looking
for night life. In 2004 Jamie encountered the 18 pouces crew from Bordeaux and
immediately started playing all around the city. By 2006 he had already blown up
dance floors around the country, now in 2007 and at the young age of just 21 he
is getting bigger and bigger, and becoming more and more of a name u hear
throughout the French drum n bass music scene MC Youthstar has already peformed
on line ups with a lot of french artists such as : Andy C, Grooverider,
Pendulum, Fresh, J Majik, Hype, Bailey, Mc Rage, TC, Krust, Subfoces, 2shy Mc,
DLM, MC ID, Shimon, Q Project, Brian G, Jenna G, Tali, Hive n Gridlok, Evol
intent, etc..
He has played
in citys all over france plus several international nights and in a number of
very prestigious and well known clubs as well as several well respected and
popular festivals.. Youthstar is an extremely versatile MC
with a wide range styles and flows, and lets the music breathe! he is not just a
Drum n Bass MC but is also known to mash up Oldskool Garage, Grime, Breakbeat,
Dubstep and of course Hip Hop.
He is
lyricly talented with real things to say but at the same time he is also known
to come out with the most tongue twisting of ryms not to mention the battle
clash vibes. Youthstar is and MC that works very well with the crowd and does
his job to the maximum and never fales to please the public, he really is an
artist that cannot be ignored!
